I am back. What rough week it was but it over and this week is going very well. I am not so tired and have a better attitude than I have had in a while. "Joe? have a bad attitude you say." A yeah, but not now because I have sixty days till I graduate and am done with school, well maintenance school. People not associated with aviation have no concept of the amount of training it takes to get ready for the mission field. I will probably have close to three thousand hours of training by the time I qualify for the minimum standards for most mission boards. That's a rough number but you get the idea.

I have been applying for aircraft maintenance jobs and have heard nothing back but my bosses husband is the head of security for the company my company contracts with and the company we contract with has a good size company business jet program. So she is going to see if I can get a job there through the references that she and her husband and various other people there would provide me. Pretty cool if it would happen. Wouldn't have to move and it would be good pay with benefits.

I flew to Muskegon last week to drop off a friend who had to pick up his airplane. When I took off the wind was straight down the runway and I barely pulled back and the plane just jumped off the ground. So I kept the plane straight and level and just let the wind push it straight up. The controller told me to turn left to 180 and contact departure. So I hauled back on the controls and turned hard and boy oh boy did she climb and turn fast . It was great! Such fun it is to fly in the sky!! Yea, I know you all think I am nuts.
